Open ai just launched its own advertising platform inside ChatGPT — and it is bigger news than most people realise.
As per the latest updates, they have started showing ads very early. The platform is still fresh, still being tested, and moving fast.
Right now it is only available in the USA. Countries like India cannot access it yet — but it is coming.
Who Can Run These Ads?
Both businesses and individuals can sign up — but currently only businesses are fully operational on the platform. Individual advertisers are still waiting for full access.
One interesting thing — no third party agencies are allowed to run ads on your behalf through the self-serve platform. You have to do it yourself as a business. Though OpenAI has partnered with a few large agency groups separately, the self-serve tool is business-direct only.
